The Division of Neuroradiology, Vascular and Interventional Radiology is divided into two main areas. The Neuroradiology area provides high-quality imaging diagnostics of the brain, spinal cord and head/neck region as well as endovascular treatment of different vascular pathologies (aneurysms, AV malformation, stenosis). The Interventional Radiology area focuses on imaging diagnostics of the vascular system as well as endovascular treatment of vascular pathologies, interventional radiation treatment of tumors and various drainage interventions. We employ state-of-the-art imaging techniques such as computer tomography, magnet resonance imaging and ultrasound. Both areas engage in high-quality research and teaching.
