Content related to neuroradiology and interventional radiology is taught in Module XVII. In addition to the main lecture in both subspecialties, interesting and instructive cases are described as part of problem-based learning. Ward exercises give students the opportunity to become acquainted with daily routine procedures and participate in interventional treatments.
Module XVII is held jointly with the Institute of Medical Informatics, Statistics and Documentation. Radiology content is also found in many of the free electives. Furthermore, division staff teach at other institutions such as Graz University of Technology and FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences Graz.
The wide range of professional development opportunities at the Medical University of Graz is directed at a variety of occupational groups in the fields of medicine, science and research, nursing and health services. Most of the professional development courses can be completed while the participant is regularly employed and provide him/her with a valuable additional qualification.
